COLLECTION
Global hooked rugs are produced using
the Gun Tufting Technique. A stencil is made on
canvas and each
loop is "shot" in by hand, using
the appropriate color, to create the design of the
rug one loop at a time.
When this step is completed,
the yarn ends are cut to equal length on the back
of the rug, then covered with
Latex to bind the
cut loops to the canvas matrix. Finally a heavy
canvas backing is applied, nicely finished, to
further
protect the back of the rug and provide a "Clean
Finished Look".
